We have 2 locations,


What are the office hours?
Germantown Location -
Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM. Office closes 1 hour for lunch, normally between 12:30pm-1:30pm but can vary.

Shelby Drive Location -
Monday through Friday 9AM - 5 PM Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. Office closes 1 hour for lunch.
When can I access my unit?
All Location's Gate Hours are 5am-9:59pm Daily
Gate automatically locks at 10pm

Can I rent a unit online?
Germantown Location - At this time Reservations are accepted online but not rentals.
Reservation Time Frame
Only 1-2 units available - 24 hours
3-10 available for 72 hours
10+ available for one (1) week.

Shelby Drive Location - At this time Reservations are accepted online but not rentals
What security features do you offer?
Our facility is fully fenced, gated, and being monitored 24/7 using our state-of-the-art security cameras.
What type of units do you offer?
Germantown Location - We offer climate-controlled units, non-climate units, and standard covered parking (parking does require a unit rental also).

Shelby Drive Location - We offer climate-controlled units and non-climate units.

Am I required to store long-term?
We provide flexible month-to-month lease options. Store with us short or long-term.
How do I pay my storage bill?
Payments can be made online at https://www.storagetowne.com/payonline you will select the Germantown - Hacks Cross location or the Memphis - Shelby Drive location, we accept Debit/Credit Cards, and ACH payments online. You can also stop by the office or call to make a payment over the phone during business hours. We also can set up autopay, talk with a staff member for more information.

What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
Germantown Location - A valid form of government-issued ID such as driver’s license, passport, or state ID.
If storing a vehicle or trailer, we do require proof of ownership (title, registration, proof of insurance, bill of sale). We do not allow vehicles to be working on anywhere with in our facility.

Shelby Drive Location -A valid form of government-issued ID such as driver’s license, passport, or state ID.
What items am I not allowed to store?
Perishables, plants, animals, stolen or illegal goods, flammable or hazardous items, combustible items, or liquids.

Do you provide a lock with the rental of the unit?
No, we do not provide you with a lock but do sell them during business hours in the office. We do however, recommend the 2 3/4" round disc locks over the padlocks. If you take the Protection Plan, you are required to secure your unit with a round disc lock. Research has shown these are better security locks over padlocks.

Germantown Location - Staff will place a small green or yellow ¾” tamper-proof sticker on each lock after its placed on the unit to secure it. This helps the staff to be able to notice if the lock has been removed, tampered with or changed, when doing checks of the facility. If a lock is found without a sticker we will contact the customer to verify if they changed the lock. This is an extra step to help protect your items while storing at our location.
